Barely five hours after the released of a statement condemning the President Muhamadu Buhari’s government, by ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, two key leaders of the All Progressive (APC) Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande have been summoned to Abuja for a meeting.
Both are currently meeting with the president, at his residence, inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Though the duo did not reveal the purpose of their meeting with the Buhari, Presidential sources said the meeting may however not be unconnected with the scarthing letter written by Obasanjo attacking the government.
Obasanjo, had in a statement released on Tuesday afternoon, slammed the APC led government as ineffective and lacking in leadership direction for the country.
He, therefore advised Buhari not to consider himself as a candidatr in 2019 Presidential election.
