Earlier, Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Pat. Ekeji who handed over the report to the Deputy Governor explained that the Committee swung into action immediately after the members were inaugurated on March 16, 2020, and was able to weather through the storm of COVID-19 and other challenges; hence, beat the deadline set for it.

He promised that the government would be greeted with a new vista in sporting activities once the recommendations as contained in the review report are implemented.
