Kogi State Governor, Mr Yahaya Bello, has turned Ekiti State to his new abode as the people of the state prepares to vote in the July 14 governorship poll.
Checks by our correspondent showed that since Tuesday when the All Progressives Congress (APC) held its final rally in support of its candidate, Kayode Fayemi, Bello has not left Ekiti for Kogi State.
He is lodged in Midas Hotel along Iworoko Road, Ado+Ekiti.
It was learnt that Bello is in charge of security subcommittee of the national campaign committee of Fayemi and is the one who brought in different security agencies to Ekiti for the election.
During the Tuesday’s rally, Bello brought in people in their hundreds from Kogi to support Fayemi.
Bello’s main task, it was gathered, is to ensure the use of security agents to the advantage of the APC and its candidate.
He also reportedly brought in thugs from Kogi and their duty is to scare away people from their polling centres.
