An internationally influential spiritual leader, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star who is the King of kings and Lord of lords has called on world leaders, including President Donald Trump of the United States of America to think more about how to bring peace and development to poor and crises-ridden countries instead of threats and wars.
The respected spiritual leader with millions of adherents around the world said this yesterday in New York, United States when he formally declared open a massive Cathedral, which the spiritual organisation said it is their biggest edifice so far outside Africa.
His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu arrived the United States a week ago ahead of the grandiose commissioning ceremony alongside retinue of aides and a large delegation of top vicars, including spiritual lords and high priests such as the Archbishops, Bishops and young virgins who, too, are priests as well as those called Christ’s Sherpherds, Christ’s Ambassadors, Blessed Mothers, Pastors, etc.
In his message, he said world leaders should practically emphasise the dire need for unity, live for their peoples and also forgive themselves.
He said this forgiveness should be total and practical, adding that bigger and stronger nations should work towards helping the small and weaker ones.
“World leaders should not only love and forgive themselves but this forgiveness should extend from one country to another. Aids should not be conditional”
He warned seriously against killings and segregation, maintaining that God never authorised anyone to kill, adding that irrespective or colour of the skin or sociopolitical standing, all human beings are one. He said for there to be world peace, both Black and White people, every religion should love and forgive themselves. “This is the firm directive of our Almighty Father who created us all. Segregation, killings, suppression, feeling of superiority amongst humanity should be no longer be”, he said.
The membership of the spiritual organization in the United States of America comprises of increasing populations of Black and White people of different nationalities.
According to officials of the organisation which was founded in Calabar Nigeria in 1956 with a handful of mostly poorly educated people, it has about 10 other splendid worship centres in both North and South Americas. Officials of the organisation disclosed that administrators are sent from the world headquarters in Calabar to those outstations all over the world.
A key official of the spiritual organization who is the Dean of the College of Bishops, The Patriach, Christ Shepherd Bassey Imowo who led in the anointing of US adherents and lighting of the Centenary Torch said the commissioning ceremony was preparatory to celebrate 100 years birthday of the founder of the mega spiritual organisation.
