Aishah Ahmed was born in October 26, 1977. She is an indigene of Niger State, married to Abdallah Ahmad, a retired brigadier-general with two sons. She holds a Master of Science degree in Finance & Management from the Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom.
Mrs. Ahmad, is also an accounting graduate from the University of Abuja, who equally has Master of Business Administration, MBA in finance from the University of Lagos.
A member of the Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, CAIA Associations, Mrs. Ahmad was until her appointment in charge of the Consumer Banking Division at Diamond Bank Plc, covering the consumer banking, privilege banking, retail assets chains. Appointed in 2017 by President Muhammadu Buhari to replace, Sarah Alade, the former deputy governor in charge of Economic Policy, Mrs. Ahmad was confirmed by the Nigerian Senate on 22 of March, 2018.
