Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, has warned those spreading falsehood against him of the consequences of their actions, saying they are attracting curses to themselves.
The cleric, spoke against the backdrop of reports, which has gone viral, quoting him as predicting doom for President Muhammadu Buhari, and his government, because he has drawn the anger of God.
Mbaka, who denied ever making such a statement, which, according to the report, was in response to a raging dispute between him and another Catholic priest, Rev. Father Emmanuel Obimma, described it as the handiwork of demonic enemies.
In a statement on Monday, Mbaka urged Nigerians to disregard the report and help him dispel it as false, wondering why people should want to willingly destroy themselves.
His words: “Please fellow children of God, help me to tell the world that, I Rev. Fr. Mbaka Ejike Camillus never prophesied anything about 1st October.
“That is not from me. I have not told anyone, at any time or place that I will resign from priesthood by 1st October. That is the handiwork of my demonic enemies.
“I don’t hold Adoration Ministry on Thursday as the story claims and I never at any time told anyone that heavy rain will fall upon Aso Rock and that God is angry with President Buhari.
“The spreading media report is a wicked character assassination from the accursed demonic agents of darkness.
“I never prophesied anything about 1st October nor against Mr. President. Why are people attracting curses and God ‘s vengeance upon themselves?”.
